TYPE G11 COOLANT

Valvoline Coolant Antifreeze Type G11 Concentrate is based on mono-ethylene glycol and contains additives to protect against limescale, corrosion, foaming, and other common performance-affecting issues.
This automotive coolant is suitable for diesel and gasoline engines and is engineered by Valvoline™ to protect all open and closed cooling systems against overheating and freezing.
Valvoline Coolant Antifreeze Type G11 concentrate meets the automotive manufacturers’ industry’s standards and is recommended for a range of gasoline and diesel engines.
For more details on the product’s approval codes, see the Performance level section at the top of the Type G11 Concentrate Product Information sheet. (Find the link to the sheet below.)
The Valvoline Coolant Antifreeze Type G11 Concentrate offers extended protection of the engine cooling system and its components even in harsh weather conditions.
Moreover, its special formula prevents the build-up of deposits and as a result, keeps the cooling system clean and fully operational.
In addition, regular maintenance and use of the Type G11 coolant protect engines against corrosion and scaling. In that way, the occurrence of metal pitting and leaks, blockage of cooling passages, and formation of scale is prevented.
It is suitable and safe to use in all aged diesel and gasoline engines.
Valvoline Coolant Antifreeze Type G11 Concentrate is a blue/blue-green coolant designed to be diluted with demineralized water.
Depending on the weather conditions, the appropriate engine coolant ratios are as follows:
- 33% concentrate for freezing temperatures up to -18 ºC
- 40% concentrate for freezing temperatures up to -27 ºC
- 50% concentrate for freezing temperatures up to -37 ºC.*
